Especially in big cities, we are all constantly surrounded by sounds. A couple of examples are traffic in the street, people walking on the pavement and planes flying over. We don’t really notice all these sounds until we get out of our environment into a location with much fewer sounds, like the countryside. In this section, we dive into the negative effect sound can have on you as a person. This, in short, is noise pollution.

Noise pollution can lead to severe effects. It can cause high stress, but also hypertension, tinnitus, sleep disturbance, and hearing loss. Even when the effects aren’t that serious immediately, it gets you off balance no matter what.
